Each month, NewsBank organizes important news events
into subject areas. Hot Topics includes descriptions of the event, questions to further explore
the event, and search strings that can be used in your NewsBank
resource, all in a 40 second video.
Special Reports
Similar to Hot Topics, Special Reports organizes information into monthly subject areas. Special Reports will include older information, pictures, videos, etc when relevant, however. This 2 1/2 minute video demonstrates how to find and use this feature.

We have access to the student edition of this database. This 3 minute video will show you how to access, search, and limit to find current relevant information. Learn how to search and locate
different types of news content, including videos, transcripts, and
online-only content.

NewsBank does not currently integrate into Google Apps for Education accounts. Learn how to create a personal account in your NewsBank resource so you
can save documents for later, see your recent searches, and review your
history. You can also create, update and change email alerts to stay on top of breaking news subjects of interest.
