Video: 25th Anniversary 9/11 Remembrance Assembly at Camden High School

During the afternoon of September 11th, 2026, the Camden High School community came together to learn about the events of September 11th from a variety of perspectives through a special 25th anniversary remembrance assembly organized by the CHS Social Studies Department. 

Students heard about what it was like to experience that day as a teacher from current CHS teacher Karen Davis. They saw the day from a broadcaster's view as 93Q's Amy Robbins, CHS Class of 1983, returned to her Alma Mater to share what it was like to be on-air as the events unfolded. SPO Dustin Hite '92 shared his heartfelt and sobering perspective as a New York State Police Officer who responded to assist in the post-9/11 recovery efforts in New York City, and CHS social studies teacher Jessica Harney completed the program with her own thoughts while also offering a brief overview of the NYS Seal of Civic Readiness, which students can pursue at CHS.
